Respecting the past, Creating the future!
Respecting the past, Creating the future!
We are prepared
to meet and exceed all of your needs. Here’s what others say:
“When I found out my tae kwon do masters
wanted $3,000 for WTF 6th dan, plus another $3,000 for a certificate,
I knew I would be forced to leave.” - M.Z., Pennsylvania
“My students are so pleased that I now
offer international accreditation. Some of the moms sent a letter
to our paper congratulating me on my achievement. Thanks, Dr. Beasley.
You made it all happen.” - J.C., California
“I couldn’t believe that when I called
AIKIA Dr. Beasley answered the phone. What an honor. Wow. He’s so
friendly and knowledgeable. I now have the parents excited again
about an organization. Can’t wait to meet you at Karate College.”
- M.D., South Carolina
“All my students joined before the first
exam. They are proud to wear the AIKIA patch. I am proud to be part
of AIKIA, the World Martial Arts Masters Association.” - E.T., Oklahoma
“I am so honored to be recognized at
5th dan by AIKIA. When I think of the thousands of dollars I wasted
on other organizations before AIKIA, I wish there was some way to
turn back time. Several other schools under me will soon be joining
AIKIA. Thank you.” - B.M., Florida
“I had pre-sold my first ten student
memberships. Would you believe when the other students saw the patch
and the Black Belt cover with Dr. Beasley they signed up, too.”
- D.S., Missouri
When you serve a master, pay incredible
testing fees, or follow strict teaching assignments, you often end
up doing all the work while someone else gets all the credit - and
the money! More than 25 years ago, Dr. Beasley, 9th dan, America’s
most revered collegiate martial arts professor, literally changed
the way martial arts organizations operate. AIKIA became the first
independent organization in which instructors were free to teach
one style and encouraged to learn from many styles.
There are no politics in AIKIA. Politics means money. At AIKIA, rank is an honor, not an expense. We guarantee that if you follow our directions you will actually make more money as our agent than you spend on AIKIA rank membership certificates.
Welcome to AIKIA Wold International Network. The world’s first and foremost independent martial arts teachers organization. Now celebrating our 30th year of service, AIKIA has promoted more than 3,600 black belts worldwide.
Who should join
If you have
earned a black belt in karate, taekwondo, tang soo do, hapkido,
kenpo, or other classical or non-classical martial art, you are
eligible for AIKIA membership.
If you currently serve as an instructor or plan to begin a class, let AIKIA assist you. Our membership base is composed of 40 percent taekwondo, 30 percent karate, and 30 percent tang soo do, hapkido, kenpo, etc.
AIKIA World Martial Arts Masters
The world’s first and foremost independent martial arts teachers organization.
The independent
martial artist is free to add techniques from all styles to his/her
system. If you practice and teach skills from more than one art
(like karate and kickboxing, taekwondo and escrima, or hapkido and
jiujitsu), or any combination of arts, you are an independent martial
artist.
After practicing and researching martial arts from many cultures, Dr. Beasley introduced the concept of the “independent” in 1979. His efforts led to appearances in more than 100 articles and six books. Former members of AIKIA have included Joe Lewis, Bill Wallace, Jeff Smith, John Graden, Gary Dill, Frank Sanchez, John Pellegrini, Steve “Nasty” Anderson, and many others.
You receive the AIKIA black belt membership certificate ($30 value), instructor certificate ($60 value), school charter/agent certificate ($90 value), and five free complete student memberships ($100 resale value) to get you started. And you may test for advanced dan rank ($100-$400 value). Many agents complete dan rank exams within the first six months of membership. Plus, you receive the $99 Program Directors Guide free!
AIKIA is the acknowledged world leader in independent martial arts certification and accreditation. We created the concept. As our representative, you will be asked to continue teaching your base art (karate, taekwondo, etc.). You should employ a belt system, continue teaching kata, hyung, basics, etc., and experiment with new skills to better prepare your students.
As the world’s leading independent teachers organization, our first goal is to serve our members. “Whosoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.” (Matthew 20:20). We offer expert guidance, internationally recognized rank certification, and fast and considerate service. Our materials and methods have been copied but never duplicated. (Look at all the competitors. Many are former AIKIA members who now offer “independent” memberships.)
AIKIA has promoted more than 3,500 black belts! When you receive your black belt agent manual, turn to the section about dan promotions. Choose your appropriate level, then follow the step-by-step instructions to earn your next dan promotion in the art of your choice. You may qualify for dan rank in more than one art. Testing is absolutely free! Awarding your dan certificate will be our honor, not your expense. You also may earn the much sought after “Mastering Karate” certificate. (Based on the “Mastering Karate” book by Dr. Beasley, available here.

programs for adults and kids to insure your success. Sections about
closing the sale, promotions, curriculum development, testing students,

When students (or parents) sign up for instruction at your school, simply ask them if they would like to receive national accreditation for taking lessons at your school. As AIKIA members, their rank is recognized worldwide, and they may take a week of free instruction at any other AIKIA school. Most schools have a special induction ceremony to recognize new members into the student branch of the world’s foremost association. No wonder most schools boast a 100-percent student membership in AIKIA!
You make your
own decisions about testing and curricula. We coined the phrase,
“No politics.” We are here to serve, not to control.
We encourage respect for traditions and
seniority.
Each month AIKIA is advertised in Black Belt and Taekwondo Times magazines. No individual can afford the cost of monthly advertising, but working together we all can benefit from the publicity and recognition. Let your members know their organization receives monthly national attention.
Dr. Beasley’s complete “Jeet Kune Do: Scientific Street Fighting” video series is available from www.CenturyFitness.com. What is unique about the jeet kune do series is that the instruction is perfectly suited for karate and taekwondo schools. You learn advanced (JKD) theories and how they apply to your martial arts program. In the history of martial arts, jeet kune do became Bruce Lee’s philosophy and adaptation of what the early tournament fighters called “Use what works.” The early fighters like Joe Lewis and Norris (who were at one time Bruce Lee students) found that to succeed they must “borrow from many arts to get the best techniques.” Today’s top MMA fighters have further advanced the “Use what works” concept. The concept of “Independent” is based on the early fighters, the philosophy of jeet kune do and the current concept of mixed martial arts. If you want to advance in your art you must look outside the limitations of your art. As an AIKIA agent/instructor we keep you informed on the latest advances in martial arts instruction with our quarterly newsletter.
www.AIKIA.net has become among the most visited martial arts sites. Members can go to the site for information about styles, theories, etc.
Karate College (AIKIA national conference) is the world’s foremost independent mixed-style martial arts summer camp for karate, taekwondo, tang soo do, kenpo, hapkido, and other martial arts. Train with Joe Lewis, Bill Wallace, Renzo Gracie, Dr. Beasley, and other top masters. Plus masters of Tang Soo Do, Taekwondo, Kenpo, Jiujitsu, Hapkido and many other arts taught at Karate College. Agents receive a special certificate of appreciation by attending camp. Karate College becomes your Master Instructor. You receive the highest level of instruction from the World’s greatest masters.
AIKIA has
developed the National Highway Courtesy Code © to encourage all
drivers to be courteous. We have a complete decal/stickers kit available.
As an official in our “Character Education” program, you reap the
public relations benefits. Where better to practice “planned acts
of courtesy” than on the highways?
The first lesson in martial arts is courtesy. The “Road Rage Rangers” program teaches juniors how to apply courtesy in all aspects of living. This publicity opportunity alone is worth many times the cost of AIKIA membership.
